01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage and tracking pixels embedded in web pages or emails. Together they allow a site to remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the site performs.
02Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include the authentication session token that keeps you logged in, a token protecting forms against cross-site request forgery, load-balancing identifiers, and a record of your cookie preferences.
Typical lifetime: session to twelve months. Lawful basis: strictly necessary, no consent required.
03Functional cookies
These remember choices you make, such as your last viewed lesson, video playback position, dismissed notices and interface preferences. Disabling them will not break the site but will make it less convenient; for example, your library progress view may reset between visits.
04Analytics cookies
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and lessons are used, where visitors drop off, and whether the playbook sequence works. Data is aggregated and used to improve the product. Where analytics are not strictly necessary we set them only with your consent.
05Payment and security technologies
Our payment processor sets cookies necessary to complete a transaction securely, to support wallet payment methods, and to detect fraudulent activity. These are set only during checkout and are governed additionally by the processor's own privacy notice.
06Email pixels
Marketing emails may include a small tracking pixel telling us whether the message was opened and which links were clicked, so we can improve content and stop sending to disengaged addresses. You can prevent this by disabling remote image loading in your email client or by unsubscribing.
07Managing your preferences
You can change your consent at any time through the cookie preferences control on the website. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or accessing member content.
Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode and a global "do not track" or global privacy control signal, which we honour where technically able.
